Jenifer Edwards is a seer, seeker, and a true giver of love.
Jenifer is a Licensed Aesthetician, Astrologer, and Reiki & Access Bars Practitioner, as well as an active (since 2015) Shamanic student who performs sacred copal clearing and heart-opening cacao ceremonies. By blending these modalities, her magic and healing becomes a truly unique and specialized form of medicine.
Jenifer has been involved in the healing arts for her whole life. From a very young age, she could communicate with animals, make poultices, and spend time “making potions”. Little did she know that she was acting out gifts brought from life times and lineages before her.
In 1993, she became immersed in astrology, both as a mode of self-discovery and also as a tool to help others. Astrology quickly became a key to help and counsel the greater collective. A lifetime fascination with the cycles of the moon prompted Jenifer to begin writing intentions, following the moon cycles, and creating magic mandalas for herself and her friends as astrology became a means to heal. Over 26 years later, she has become a teacher of manifestation using the cycles of the moon.
On the Equinox in 2017, Jenifer fully stepped into her ancestral role as a healer, and Thank Goddess was born in South Portland, Maine. Thank Goddess is a healing space using plant medicine, flower essence, stone elixers, energy healing, and ceremony to bring/open clients into the vibration of love to receive all their gifts from the universe. Thank Goddess was created as a concept for beings to feel beautiful from the inside out and to activate and heal their mind, body, and souls.
On 11/11/18, Goddess Circle Sundays was born to honor Jenifer’s love of community and her lifetime of work with the cycles of the moon. These circles are about introducing women in the community to different modalities of self care and allowing the practitioner to share their gifts as well. Self care raises your vibration to receive these collaboratives to bring healing, joy, and community to women and anyone identifying as a woman using the pronouns of "she" and "her".
Jenifer hosts private women’s circles that honor milestones, lunar events, and sisterhood. She also loves to host events and retreats that share the magic of the collective.
Jenifer (also known as Shakti Raj Priya) has been practicing Kundalini yoga since being reunited with her childhood friend, Sonya Theriault (Satpal Kaur) in 2016. She has participated in two White Tantric Yoga practices and looks forward to continuing study and practice of this technology. Kundalini yoga has been a life-changing experience for Jenifer and has developed her healing techniques and self-awareness to be attuned to the universal energies of love and abundance.
Michelle Adshead is an energy healer, intuitive painter, seeker, and student of Shamanism. She is certified in Reiki, AccessBars, Akashic Record reading, and restorative yoga. Michelle has been a dental hygienist for 30 years. After a series of life challenges, she began working with a Native American Shaman. Through the healing practices of Shamanism and by reconnecting with the natural world she experienced her “awakening” as an energy healer. Having always known deep in her bones she possessed intuitive healing gifts, Michelle began to persue different healing modalities. Around this time, she discovered Kundalini yoga as a way to continue her own healing process and become a conduit for divine light, connecting Heaven to Earth. Michelle connected with and continues to study Kundalini with Satpal Kaur in Portland, Maine. In November, she received her spiritual name, Liv Raj Prem.
Michelle’s energy healing practice, Reiki in the Woods, is located in her rustic “she shed” at her home in North Yarmouth, Maine. She guides her clients in self-awareness, self-healing, self-love, and empowerment. Michelle connects with her clients' spirit guides through the Akashic Records to intuit whichever healing modality is best suited for their highest good. A session might include Reiki, AccessBars, a healing meditation in the Akashic Records, or a mix of all modalities. Michelle hosts group and private moon circles, connecting women to raise the collective vibration. She also teaches Reiki-infused restorative yoga with healing journeys in the Akashic Records.
Sonya Theriault, LCSW (also known as Satpal Kaur) is both a psychotherapist and Kundalini Yoga instructor. After years of practicing Hatha yoga, she discovered Kundalini Yoga in 2004 at a small studio in Montana while managing an organic vegetable farm. Sonya’s first experience of Kundalini Yoga was so impactful and transformative that she immediately fell in love with this powerful technology and began a daily practice. It wasn’t long until she realized she was healing herself, and she felt compelled to share this practice with others. Sonya began her Kundalini Yoga teacher training in the spring of 2005 and was certified as a Kundalini Yoga Instructor by the Kundalini Research Institute in January of 2006. She has recently begun her level II teacher training and has had the great blessing of studying with Gurmukh, Hari Kaur, Guru Jagat, Guru Meher, Mahan Rishi, Prabhu Nam Kaur, and many others. Teaching yoga has always been a large part of her own personal spiritual practice, and Satpal/Sonya finds it especially inspiring to see students transforming from the practice and finding their way to fully embodying and accepting themselves.
In 2012, Sonya decided to deepen her commitment to helping others find their way to wholeness and went back to school to become a psychotherapist. She received both her Bachelor’s in Social Work and her Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Southern Maine. She draws deeply from her many years as a yoga instructor and incorporates mindfulness and body-centered practices into her integrative-based approach as a therapist. Sonya has been trained in many therapeutic modalities, including: Nonviolent Communication, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Level II EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). She is also certified in EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques/Tapping). Sonya believes that building self-compassion and acceptance are key components to recovery and wellness, and she works with clients to nurture and build these practices.
