Welcome! I am a clinical social worker with a passion for supporting people as they increase self awareness and tap into their own ability to heal themselves. I’ve worked with all kinds of people managing many different challenges. I specialize in trauma, eating disorders, life transitions, depression, and anxiety. My approach is client-centered, strengths- and mindfulness-based.
You are the expert of your life, and my job is to witness your process and offer guidance. Building self-compassion and acceptance are key components to recovery and wellness, and I will work with you to nurture these practices.
I have been trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, and Nonviolent Communication. I’m also certified in Emotional Freedom Techniques/Tapping. I am able to draw from almost two decades of experience as a Yoga teacher to bring mindfulness- and body-based practices into our work together.
