The mantra for Ganpati is:
Sa Ta Na Ma Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung and it is chanted in the Ganpati Kriya Meditation, also called To Make the Impossible Possible.
About the Mantra:
Sa Ta Na Ma Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung comes from the sacred Gurmukhi language and is a combination of two mantras. Sa Ta Na Ma is the Panj Shabd which consists of the primal sounds of the Universe:
Sa - Infinity
Ta - Birth/Life
Na - Death/Transformation
Ma - Rebirth
Yogi Bhajan shared that this mantra facilitates transformation, increases intuition, and balances the hemispheres of the brain.
Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung is known as the Siri Gaitri Mantra and holds the eight sounds that stimulate Kundalini (awareness) to rise up the spine or the central channel. It calls on the energy of the sun, moon, earth, and Infinity to bring healing. You can direct this energy toward yourself, another being, the whole planet, or anything you wish to focus on.
Ra - Sun
Ma - Moon
Da - Earth
Sa - Impersonal Infinity
Sa Say - Totality of Infinity
So Hung - I am Thou
Combining these Mantras creates an opportunity for deep healing and transformation.
About the Meditation
We decided to record this mantra to facilitate a series Satpal was teaching which included a daily home practice of Ganpati Kriya. This is a very powerful meditation that releases negativity, clears karma, and increases prosperity.
